Bee1 Launches Beekeeping Experience Days

We are proud to announce that we are now offering Beekeeping Experience Gift Vouchers for all bee and nature lovers! This is the ideal Christmas gift!

Each session lasts 3-4 hours at our pollinator centre/ apiary on our farm which sits above the beautiful Neath valley overlooking Swansea Bay. A maximum of 4 people can attend to make sure your experience is both personal and hands on. The price of the experience is £79 per person.

Your Visit

The beekeeping experience will flow as follows:

• Arrive at the site and be met by our Beekeeper
• Enjoy some delicious refreshments and introductions
• Receive an introduction to Bees and Beekeeping
• Enjoy a brief presentation on the importance of Bees, their lifecycle, and how a beehive works (it’s all teamwork)!
• Partake in some bee craft workshops including frame making, making your own beeswax mould, jar your own honey, making Beeswax wraps and much more.
• Visit and inspect a beehive. This is done by our beekeeper and you will be given the opportunity to do your own inspection (or simply watch and enjoy close up). For rainy days, we have a Bee observation hive that we can bring indoors so you are guaranteed to see the Bees in action.
• Debrief and presentation of certificates, photos, and your Bee1 goody bag

All protective equipment is provided. Some people decide to come just to relax and admire the view over the lake!
